Executive Director Dr. Laura Possino is a licensed clinical psychologist with experience in hospital, rehabilitation center and residential treatment center settings. As the owner/operator of Grace Manor at North Park, her goal is to provide its residents with a safe, comfortable, supportive environment in which to live where they can receive the individualized care they need while enjoying a happy and fulfilling lifestyle. Dr. Possino holds a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology and is licensed to practice in the state of Pennsylvania. She earned a B.A. in Psychology from Wake Forest University, and attended graduate school at Fairleigh Dickinson University and Nova University, where she earned a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. She served her Doctoral Internship at the University of Miami. Dr. Possino’s health care experience includes serving as a psychotherapist in an outpatient setting at the Neurological Rehabilitation Center in Tamarac, FL, where she coordinated medical treatment with psychological services, such as individual and group therapy. She served as a Clinical Psychologist at Wordsworth Academy in Fort Washington, PA, where she performed psychological evaluations, individual and group psychotherapy, and family therapy. Dr. Possino interned in the Acute Care Unit at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL where she performed neurological and psychological evaluations, wrote assessments, and did individual and group therapy. Dr. Possino has also worked in forensic settings, with individuals adjudicated NGRI (not guilty by reason of insanity) and IST (incompetent to stand trial). Most recently, Dr. Possino worked in a residential treatment center where her responsibilities included psychological evaluation, individual, group and family therapies, as well as crisis intervention. Administrator & President Steve Possino is a seasoned business executive who brings over two decades of experience beginning with a fast track career in the Silicon Valley High Technology & Telecommunications sector and subsequently, owner and Administrator of the highly successful Grace Manor at North Park Assisted Living Facility. Steve Possino’s executive and entrepreneurial spirit enabled him to take start-up, as well as Fortune 500 companies, to the next level. His background includes experience as a Vice President, Senior Executive and Officer working for several companies, including: Unisys; LHS Communications; Geneva Technologies; Convergys; and most recently, Narus, Inc. He also was appointed to the Board of Advisors at Edoc’s & Siebel Systems. In addition, he was directly involved in numerous acquisitions of the above companies including (LHS Communications to SEMA Group $4.5B & Geneva Technologies to Convergys for $750M). Since 2002, Steve has taken his proven business practices and leveraged those to the Healthcare-Assisted Living Industry. “My goal was to make Grace Manor at North Park have the look and feel of an elegant, comfortable condominium building, while providing the highest level of comprehensive care that any licensed assisted living facility has to offer”, said Mr. Possino in a recent interview. Steve has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in finance, from the University of Miami, Fl. In addition, he completed an Executive Leadership Program at M.I.T. In his most recent years, he acquired his Pennsylvania certification as a Healthcare Administrator.
Activities Director Jo Stuchell joined Grace Manor at North Park as Activities Director in April 2007. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her position, after working in Senior Care since the mid-1980’s. Ms. Stuchell devoted her career to working with the senior population, and she finds every day to be very rewarding. Her 20+ years experience includes various positions such as Supervisor of Resident Care Specialists, Social Activities Director, Caregiver, Dining Room Manger, Social Events Coordinator and Program Developer. After gaining valuable skills and success with other senior living communities, Ms. Stuchell joined Grace Manor to engage her real passion, providing activities for seniors that help increase their quality of life. As the Activities Director, she communicates with residents and families on a daily basis, and she coordinates all resident activities, establishing a perfect balance between therapeutic and social activities. She makes their days brighter, and finds a genuine satisfaction by meeting their individual needs. Ms. Stuchell enjoys working with seniors, and her goal for Grace Manor is to encourage participation and social interaction among the residents, stimulating them with an endless mix of activities, so there is always something for everyone.
